We started planning our Ayers Rock/Uluru trip with a big-name travel agency in Singapore back in April/May but experienced slow responses and had to delay our trip from mid-June to the end of June. We also reached out to some local Australian agencies like NT Now and AATKings, but replies were either slow or non-existent.
Thankfully, we found Lisa from PriceBreaker and Dan from Down Under Vacations just two weeks before our departure. Both were incredibly responsive, even on weekends, and provided detailed proposals within 1–2 days. Dan was able to confirm twin-bedded hotel rooms for us, so we booked through him—and we’re so glad we did.
The whole trip was well-organized, and Dan stayed in touch via WhatsApp throughout. The only issue was a missed airport transfer at the end, but otherwise everything ran smoothly. We also really appreciated the transparency of Dan’s itemized billing, which was a refreshing change from the usual lump-sum pricing in Singapore.
