Taronga Zoo cares for over 5,000 animals from 350+ species, including Australian native wildlife and rare exotic animals. Admission tickets include daily keeper talks and seal and/or bird presentations.

Taronga Zoo is open 365 days of the year:
9:30am–4:30pm (May–Aug)
9:30am–5:00pm (Sep–Apr)*

Wheelchair access: The entrance level deck of rocket ferries is wheelchair accessible with an accessible bathroom. Taronga Zoo wharf is also wheelchair accessible.

From time to time, some animal exhibits may close for maintenance works.
