Pinnacles Sunset Tour
Join us on a spectacular Pinnacles Sunset Tour, exploring some of Western Australia’s most stunning natural landscapes. Experience twinkling twilight skies, abundant wildlife, and the remarkable limestone formations of the Pinnacles Desert.
After departing Perth, travel approximately 1.5 hours to Guilderton Lookout, offering panoramic views of Western Australia’s largest sand dune network. Accessed by 83 steps (approximately 7 minutes), the lookout provides striking views of snow-white dunes against the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Toilets and a café are available at the carpark.
Continue to Nilgen Nature Reserve, where you may wander among seasonal wildflowers including banksias, bottlebrushes, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws. If wildflowers are not in season, the tour visits Hangover Bay instead, where you may dip your toes in crystal-clear waters or spot bottlenose dolphins and sea lions.
Journey onward to Nambung National Park to witness the extraordinary Pinnacles Desert at sunset. Formed millions of years ago from ancient seashell deposits, thousands of limestone pillars rise from the desert floor. At dusk, as crowds fade away, the changing light creates an eerie, lunar-like atmosphere.
Enjoy a picnic dinner accompanied by a glass of local wine as the sky transforms into a dazzling display of stars and planets. Listen to ancient Aboriginal Dreamtime stories while marvelling at the clear desert night sky. A telescope is provided for enhanced stargazing.
Meals: Dinner included.
Driving distance: 420km.

Known as one of Australia’s finest wine regions, the Margaret River Region is an area blessed with natural beauty. Showcasing a sample of the best this region has to offer, this tour allows you to experience the food, wine and coastal beauty of this Western Australian area in one day.
We travel south from Perth, driving out into the farmland and grazing cattle, before stopping for morning tea (own expense) at the quirky and picturesque town of Cowaramup, famous for the 42 life-sized fibreglass Friesian cows located throughout the town. After exploring the cafés and chocolate shops, we venture onward to Providore, where you can sample a range of delicious gourmet food products.
Driving into the heart of Margaret River, we enjoy wine and nougat tastings at Bettenay’s Nougat Company, a highlight of this Margaret River wine tour, before your included lunch at one of Margaret River’s famous wineries or breweries. Next, it’s on to Vasse Virgin, where you can sample a huge selection of soaps, oils and other products.
Continuing our trip out to the coast, we take in the spectacular seascape views across the Indian Ocean from Canal Rocks, following the walkways out over these chiselled granite blocks to see the rushing ocean beneath.
We start our return journey north and conclude with a stop at Busselton, where you will have a chance to view the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. We depart from here back to Perth, arriving at approximately 8:30pm.
